Experience

Nov 2020 – Present

TigerData formerly Timescale

Engineer → Senior Product Manager II

Started as an engineer during the observability wave and grew into product leadership across migrations, Livesync/Connectors, and data movement.

  • Senior Product Manager IIFeb 2026 – Present
  • Senior Product Manager IFeb 2025 – Feb 2026
  • Product ManagerFeb 2023 – Feb 2025
  • Associate Product ManagerJan 2022 – Feb 2023
  • EngineerNov 2020 – Jan 2022
  • Observability foundation (Engineer): Built Tobs (The Observability Stack), a one-command Helm deployment for a full o11y stack on TimescaleDB across self-hosted and cloud.
  • Promscale core work: Built and scaled long-term metrics and traces storage with Prometheus remote write and OpenTelemetry exporters to make Kubernetes observability reliable in production.
  • Self-serve cloud (APM/PM): Ran onboarding experiments and product hypotheses to improve activation metrics incrementally.
  • Migration outcomes (PM): Owned PostgreSQL/TimescaleDB → Tiger Cloud migrations, driving ~70% success despite highly variable source DB constraints.
  • Livesync/Connectors evolution (Sr PM): Evolved migration into a parallel-run model so customers could mirror from source PostgreSQL, validate safely, and cut over when ready.
  • Current scope (Sr PM II): Leading Connectors and Data Movement (inbound + outbound sync): PostgreSQL, S3, Kafka, and now native Iceberg sync for data lake workflows.

OpenTelemetry Operator

Contributor & Maintainer

Helped shape how observability gets deployed in Kubernetes. If you've used the OTel Operator, you've probably run my code.

Jun 2019 – Nov 2020

Aqua Security

Early engineer, India site

Engineer on the Image Scanner that tears apart container images to show you exactly what's inside - dependencies, vulnerabilities, the works.

  • Developed the first version of KubeEnforcer - deployed as a DaemonSet to scan images in real-time, run nightly Kube-bench and penetration tests.
  • Built admission controllers with custom rules to prevent noisy neighbor problems. No resource limits? Blocked. Sketchy image? Blocked. Kept clusters secure and compliant.
Jun 2020 – Aug 2020

The Linux Foundation

Intern

Developed an Open Policy Agent (OPA) MongoDB data-filtering service. It translates Rego policies into equivalent MongoDB queries so policy-based filtering works on data stored in MongoDB. Making policy enforcement actually work with real databases.

Jan 2020 – Mar 2020

The Linux Foundation

Intern

Built a gRPC-based storage plugin for Cortex - a distributed, multi-tenant, long-term storage system for metrics. Because someone had to make metrics storage actually scale.

May 2019 – Aug 2019

Google Summer of Code

The Postgres Operator

Built a kubectl plugin for Zalando's Postgres Operator. Basically kubectl but for Postgres CRDs - get, scale, manage databases with familiar commands. Made managing Postgres in K8s less painful.

Jun 2018 – Jun 2019

OpenText

Early engineer, Trading Grid Online

Focused on improving delivery speed and platform reliability across frontend and backend systems.

  • Reduced npm build sizes to improve frontend build performance.
  • Upgraded Angular versions and handled migration/compatibility fixes.
  • Containerized services with Docker to standardize development and deployment workflows.
  • Built backend APIs with Spring + Java for core product use cases.
